greek life 10 years ago at tech

I was at tech 10 years ago. The Theta Chi house was new at that point and they pulled huge pledge classes. LXA hadn't built their new house yet and was struggling. Beta was popular, but not the overdog that they were 2-3 years ago. Sigma Chi was elite and selective but had a reputation for being aloof and not involved. ATO and TKE had better reputations then and their houses were comparatively better back then. SAE was still off campus. FIJI had a very good all-around reputation.

KA was the most southern and redneck and Sigma Chi and Beta were the most southern and proper. SAE was off campus for much of the 2000's and came back in 2006 I believe. Sigma Nu had a sort of southern "military" reputation and was a lot smaller before they built their new house.

Also, Delta Chi pulled some huge pledge classes in the early/mid 2000's and that's about when they built their "second" house. They did still have their sort of "study" reputation back then too, but it was more appreciated since they were involved and an organization that was numerically on the rise in terms of size and influence.
