Where should I rush

2nd year transferring to GT from California
Looking for a larger fraternity that actually has a good brotherhood because I'm a transfer and need to make friends from scratch. I'm athletic, party a decent bit, all that. Not sure if any of the houses here are overly white, but I'm Korean if that matters.

What would be a good starting list for the rush? There are so many houses and it looks like I can only go to ~8 during the spring rush due to time constraints I have.

Dont know where else to ask, but I need to narrow my list.

I think Beta has like 4 or 5 transfer students in pc 20. You should check them out

Beta definitely isnt southern that poster was joking. They are diverse and actually have more out of state guys than most of the other top 8 groups minus Fiji and MAYBE TKE.

Diverse doesn't always mean non white. In fact i believe as long as you are exclusively in state but racially diverse you are not diverse. Beta is SUPER out of state. (IS=in state, OOS=out of state)

IS only: SAE, ATO, KA

Mix of OOS/IS but lean IS: KS, PKA, SX, Fiji

Mostly OOS: BTP, TKE

SAE and ATO are not in state only. Not sure about KA. All 3 get a lot of in state guys because they have strong summer rush programs but both have quite a few from out of state and periodically international.

Unbiased: look into SigEp, TKE, PhiSig, chiphi, PiKapp, maybe even DeltaSig.

Avoid: KA, SX, Sae, beta, skull house, zbt, pkt

All have pros and cons but they have a good amount of transfers or non-freshman pledges with decent brotherhoods. It doesn’t hurt looking into places I didn’t mention, but they’re either pro-freshman, lame or overly white

if you are looking for a fun fraternity check out Beta, SX, TKE, KS, ATO, SAE, FIJI, pike, sig ep,and SN. in no order. Those are like more social ones on campus.
