They got dropped for trying to take the GT Simp King title from Beta. There were a few who got dropped for an unrelated incident where they got out benched at the Pike vs Fiji Bench Off

The mother of one of their pledges called the school about a week ago to report hazing. Not sure if they've been dropped but blanket bidding didn't seem to work this semester

By: Maybe
by: Uh oh

That's serious, they'll likely get a suspension or at the very least SoPro for awhile. Their charter should be safe.

It looks like Fiji might get away with this, they deleted all of their group messages and the only way the school is going to get then is if this kid tells them what Fiji did.

Its looking like 2 years of sopro instead of suspension, maybe suspension is on the table still.

They dont have group me messages but apparently they have other information that isnt looking good for Fiji.

Was that the complaint? That they made their pledges clean???

Allegedly a pledge told their mom they had to clean or something and then she called the school. That could not be true that’s just what I heard

It was more than just cleaning, a school scavenger hunt, and wall sits/bear crawls/etc.

You dont have to hand 10 bids soft kids every year if you're going to do things that could get you into trouble ... Blanket bidding never works out.

What was this parent trying to accomplish? Get their kids fraternity closed down or on probation? Why didn't the kid just drop?

Whether they dropped or not wouldn't have changed the parent wanted to shut down the fraternity. A lot of parents are scared about their kids joining a fraternity, from all the bad press about hazing deaths and all. To hear about what you were scared of happening is going to be a bad result.

Yeah cleaning isnt bad but it isnt what they know that scared them, it was what they didnt know. If a fraternity is doing one thing theyre not supposed to, who knows if they're doing other more dangerous things?

Soft kids with over protective parents are never a good combo. I guess the days of hazing are over. It's time we turn fraternity rush into a more stringent process to weed out the creeps and softies.

Hazing is not a dying art. There’s lots of places that do it still and it’s crucial to building a solid brotherhood and making sure your pledges understand what’s up

By: Lol

I disagree. Its just a matter of time. what is the point anyway? we all went through it, so it was good for us. I think I could've done without it, and Im not soft. Sometimes I wonder wth is the point.

Not always. Hazing can also hurt a brotherhood. Imagine trying to be friends with someone who actively went out of their way trying to add hell to your life.

Yeah it probably made me bond better with my pledge class but it wasn’t crucial to our bond. If you need hazing to bond with men, then you’re not really good at making friends in the first place.
