bud peterson
by: greekTech's current adminsitration is anti-Greek. Bud Peterson is at the root of this problem. Campus is so lame compared to how it used to be. If it wasn't for greek life, the Athletic Department would have significantly less support, our student government would suck, and what the hell would anyone have to do outside of class if it wasn't for us? I remember when greek row was always poppin and there was always something to do. Now it's all boring and anything we do is like walking on eggshells. Not to mention, does Bud Peterson not realize that greek alumni don't donate when you screw over their houses?

Anyone worth a damn at this school is either a varsity athlete or Greek or both. Those are going to be the students who end up making the most money, being the most successful and therefore giving back the most to the school. If Bud Peterson and his current administration continue to restrict and discourage Greek and social life in general, the school will have very little alumni support after the next generations of graduates. And this is clearly a pattern seeing as he completely eliminated Greek life at his previous school.
The only solution is to replace "Bud" with someone less naive who realizes the real potential of the student population.

Bud is just afraid of receiving backlash because when he was at A&M 12 students died in a bonfire. When he was forced to transferred to U Colorado, a Chi Psi pledge died of alcohol poisoning and a . When he came to Tech he killed a lot of traditions that he saw as hazing at various fraternities and forced their nationals to punish them. Now a lot of fraternities are scared to do anything because they do not want to suffer like they did when he first came in.
