Descriptions of non Top 8 Fraternities
by: NewhereCan anyone chime in with descriptions of fraternities other than the top eight ones that are constantly mentioned? First of all, as a freshman we have to choose more than that to meet with. Second, the top 8 fraternities may not be something we are interested in. Descriptions are helpful. Throwing other houses under the bus is not.

These are gonna be stereotypes but when it comes to the less relevant fraternities that’s all I really know about them.
SN - stoners, kinda chill
KA - the southern fraternity, have Robert E Lee as their “spiritual founder” (not a joke)
DX - smart, nerdy
Glowworm - play a lot of video games, kinda weird
Skullhouse- dungeons and dragons type mfers
LXA - rip

I’d describe SigEp more as the alternative/skater boi fraternity from my experience

out of all the ones listed above the best two (in terms of how nice/normal the guys are and how fun they are) in my opinion would be sigep or lambda(rip). Sigep has pretty good sorority relations and I think the only reason they aren’t a “top” house is because their nationals made them dry. I would also say maybe pi kapp but i haven’t gone there as much.
