Fraternity Statistics

Because party schools have had so many issues with fraternity GPA's being sub-par that they publish them to hold them accountable. Some schools even go so far as to allocate football block seating priority by house GPA as a bribe. Not so much of an issue at Tech. Comparing fraternity GPA's here is like splitting hairs.

GPA can be skewed by how the membership is comprised based on major, and that is an ever-changing thing, but fraternity GPA's are consistently higher than the GT average undergrad GPA. All fraternities have a minimum GPA that you have to maintain to be an active member, and if you are concerned about academic support, it can be advantageous to pledge where there are older brothers in a house in your major. If they are good at rushing, they would make sure you would know that they did and introduce you if possible.

Just curious why does Georgia Tech not release member ship counts and more specific GPA information like for each pledge class ect. I know UGA and other schools have detailed reports of this stuff every semester.
