Description of Each Sorority
by: Just CuriousI'm just genuinely curious as to what the sororities are like at Georgia Tech. If someone could just post a description of each sorority and what they are known for on camps that would be much appreciated! Please don't be bias:)

this is from another thread but here are the general stereotypes (so obviously does not apply to all members). Also you can group a lot of them together bc they are more similar than they are different.
adpi: rich southern blonde business majors, boring, Christian, not very involved on campus
zta/alpha phi: very outgoing/big partiers, supposedly a lot of drama/cattiness, do a lot with their philanthropies
alpha xi/axo/phi mu: very involved on campus, smart, chill (don’t hear a lot of negativity about them), do a lot with their philanthropies
alpha gam: studious bookworms, chill/nice, big house
theta: newer sorority, don’t know a lot of members but nice girls, do a lot with their philanthropy, have the newest and nicest house

Adpi hangs with more southern fraternities, and are lot from the Atlanta area, Zta is popular for mixers and fun to hang with, Phi mu's a mix, some lowkey and involved, and some that are trendy cool girl vibe, Alpha xi's also a mix, are known for having fun events and cool, chill girls,
Alpha phi is newer on campus than the others but has nice girls, AXO is a very feminist vibe and well-liked, Alpha Gam is very studious and well-respected for being super sweet and smart, Theta's another one that's very new on campus but very sweet girls and a gorgeous new house!

Every sorority on campus is full of smart, wonderful women! There are only 8 CPC chapters (with 2 associate chapters as well) so naturally there is a lot of overlap between them. Almost every sorority woman I know at Tech could easily fit into multiple chapters, so it’s all about the personal connections you have while going through recruitment
