How will fall semester be?
by: QuestionDoes anybody know what’s going to happen for fall? Are we allowed to have parties/any social events or will it all have to be unregistered stuff?

If you're non greek you're screwed, sorry that's just going to be how it is. This year there won't be very many if any mass invites, so you should probably rush someone or prepare to spend a lot of money going DT or Buckhead.
Fraternities will have a ton of events both registered (if the school isn't sketch) and unregistered. They will be safely socially distanced, with masks and gloves, temperatures will be taken, numbers will be down by keeping geeds out.

They said “safely socially distanced” which is 6 feet unless I’ve been hearing that wrong every single day for the last few months

By safely socially distanced I meant not packed into a venue or house like sardines. Never said 6 feet. Maybe there will be 6 feet of space maybe more. We will be keeping numbers down so idk why we would need strict 6 feet guidelines.
GDI guys will be kept out, but we want girls to feel safe, so we are doing these things to make them feel better and will be adding themes to it to make it seem more fun for them. Your group can be lame with your small apartment parties no one is going to want to go to.

I’d bet most fun parties will be smaller friend groups at off campus apartments. No large organization is going to want to take on the liability nor the ramification from nationals/Tech even for unregistered events getting leaked out. No one is going to want to do the type of parties that would be acceptable under health guidelines. Which personally I’m fine with because I don’t need a 100 people and an expensive ballroom to have a good time.

Lololol we clearly come from 2 different fraternities, because.my group is already talking about how we're going to do this.

No one said 6 feet, but numbers will be kept down to keep everyone from getting packed in.
And I'm sure there will be others like you for sure but I know for a fact there will be themes to encourage people wearing masks and gloves. Masquerade, halloween theme, you know a bunch of stupid ---- girls will love and guys will follow just because the girls like it.
It's gonna suck bad for sure but it will eventually get to be fun once people are used to it. When there's a vaccine things will start to go back to normal.
