thoughts on sx fiji ks and beta

Fiji and SX have both been top fraternities here for a long time, they both have very good reps, good social scenes, and are overall great places to be
Betas also a good place to go with good athletics, cool guys and good mixers. They can't do anything huge in their own house but they have fun joints
KS has went from being irrelevant to one of the better fraternities on campus in the past 2 years. They've been rushing really well and have built up a pretty good social scene. They will probably keep growing while other houses fall behind
I'd consider all these places to be some of the top houses on campus and you cant really go wrong here. Just comes down to going out to rush and finding where you fit in

All 4 good groups, all different.
If you ranked them from most stereotypical frat bros to quirkier but still social guys, it’d probably go
SX
Beta
Fiji
KS
SX probably has the most stereotypical partier frat bros, they pull a lot and like to drink. Beta’s a little more down to earth but still kinda co.cky and decent pull. Fiji pulls too but in more of a nice guy kind of way. KS is good but were super irrelevant a couple years ago so still have some catching up to do. They probably throw the biggest parties out of the 4, though.

Agree. Have you been to any of these houses? I think the stereotypes listed are true - where do you fit?
PKA - gym rats
TKE - alcoholics may be harsh but party over school
SAE - big name in the south - get a lot of rushes that want the name but not the best brotherhood
Beta - smart, very nice house, a mix of guys with some weirdos
SX - smaller house, great location, selective, smaller pledge classes but solid guys
ATO (not on your list but similar to SX) - selective, oldest house on campus with great alumni network, great location and parties
Fiji and KS - big houses, have a reputation for blanket bidding. Some really great guys and others are really strange.
All of the above plus a few others are worth visiting

Fiji- not good any more. Never party and all of their younger guys are weird.
SX- they'll talk bad about your fraternity until they need you for a joint. They'll beg you just so they don't have to throw their sorry solo parties.
PKA- a little creepy but they are out growing that. Them KS and TKE are the only ones throwing solid solo ragers.
SAE- used a sorority to rat on KA. Other than that they're super solid.
KS- their grades suck. But they do a lot for the community and have some of the best parties here.
TKE- this group is a mix of ransoms and weird guys every year but they have some of the best solo events here.
Beta- weird guys who can't throw solo events but they have some of the best joints and socials out there.
ATO- still recovering from being suspended awhile back.still a better option than a few of the other groups I listed.

Half of these are wrong or misleading at best.
Fiji doesn’t party? They’re literally throwing one today. A big one.
SX’s parties can be hit or miss, but calling them “sorry solo parties” is just wrong when they’re still more fun than most other parties on campus.
SAE didn’t “use a sorority” to rat on KA, the sorority just did it. How does one even “use a sorority”?
Beta has some questionable guys, as do every group, but calling them all “weird guys” is just objectively wrong.

PKA - the meatheads. If you go to the gym, 50% of the guys in there are Pikes. Have somewhat of a history with questionable decisions with girls but I think they’re getting better, I’ll leave it at that.
TKE - Alcoholics. Some good guys, some goobers, have a lot of fun and drink a LOT.
SAE - Old money in-state private school kids. Super full of themselves, not the nicest group.
