KS /BTP(Beta) /PKA(Pike) /SAE
SX /PGD(Fiji) /TKE /ATO
SAE didn't have a great year, but they're still consistently good. Either way they all have some good things going for them and some would say are just as good if not better than eachother. All 4 mix well, have extremely nice houses(minus Pike and SAE, but Beta uses theirs less), and recruit very well.
The next 4 are also really good and have a lot of potential to move up, if Fiji could do some mass invites like KS does sometimes they might move up. Their house is sick. SX is small and more exclusive but unfortunately being smaller in numbers has some disadvantages. Either way they still have a very active social life and their house is also insane. ATO and TKE are both getting more active lately and have decent enough events.
MID(Upper Mid, Mid)
OX /PKP(PiKapp) /SN /KA
DX /PDT(PhiDelt) /SPE(SigEp) /ChiPhi
Any of these 8 are worth looking into as well. All have active social lives and good events.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a fraternity?
If you want multiple joints and solo parties, live in a nice to decent house...
KS, SX, Pike, SAE, TKE
All of these 5 lack in Nationals dry house policies which makes their social lives more flexible. Sure SX is small, and TKE/SAE aren't doing as much as they're used too but these are the most sociable groups.
If you want to join a group for everything outside of the nice house, parties, and chicks, but still have good social lives...
Beta, Fiji, ATO, TKE, KS
...These would be the top. Not saying the groups above don't have anything other than parties to offer but these other fraternities excel with grades, or community service, student government, etc. A lot these have really good
connections to really good internshipp opportunities as well.

Joints are just bigger. Some people love big parties. 2 friend groups + double the funds + both their groups of girls are always going to throw bigger parties and book bigger artists than a single fraternity can on their own.

To me top fraternities are those with quality guys, limited or no weirdos, who have a good time and a strong brotherhood. Large house with a lot of guys who don't get along because they are all different is not a good thing. Joints filled with a lot of people you are paying for and don't know - also not great. Selective is best.

GDI’s are gonna love the places that give them free alcohol and are giant open invite parties, but if ur in a fraternity yourself you want a selective and tight brotherhood

If you have a lot of guys who also turn out to be pretty chill, and have all the other stuff too... Thats good as well. Sure some of them might not be the most cool but contribute in other ways, good grades, leadership positions, etc.
Also parties with a lot of non greek students get old. I feel you there. At the same time though, thats just them getting their names out there with the student population, creating/maintaining clout.
Its how fraternities that do a lot for the community, like KS, TKE, and (to a lesser extent) PKA, BTP, Fiji have got more popular recently or have maintained it from way back.

What some people are describing in here are ATO and SX... Smaller groups that throw bigger parties than they should because they're cool close guys. They still throw joints anyways even though they dont need to because its nice to have the best of both worlds.
If any of the top 10 or 12 have joints it ends up being pretty decent and overall good for greek life.
Imo... ATO KS PKA SAE SX (alphabetical order...), Have a good mix of everything and get decent exposure...
Of course you could exchange a few of the above groups could be switched out with any of TKE Fiji or Beta.
PKP OX DX KA SNu are also decent groups too.
A lot of places in greek life are worth checking out.

Go away KA. You’re small, have weird guys, and too niche for 90% of people at this school. Sopro didn’t help but you were nothing special to begin with.

KA wasn't great but they were pretty good and still have a lot of good connections to popular fraternities.

Connections to popular fraternities? Like who? KA is by far the most closed off fraternity. Most people I know have at least a few friends in all the top fraternities yet no one I know has any KA friends. They keep to themselves more than any other fraternity and it shows because no one really likes KA but KA. Not even an SAE, just someone who has multiple bad experiences with KAs.

What is the obsession with joints? I get it if you are not in a fraternity. Walking through my house/yard full of a bunch of randos I have never seen before is not necessarily a good thing. Would rather have smaller parties with people my brothers and I know.
