More low key than fall rush but you have the advantage of getting to know members on campus now so you can get invited to stuff at some houses this semester and be on their radar by January. Spring pledge classes are much smaller, like only a few guys.

There are fraternity members in your classes, your dorm, other campus organizations, all around. If you still don't have enough good connections next semester then reach out to the rush chairs of some houses when school starts back in January and tell them you are interested and ask if they are having any upcoming events. Your third option is to just walk up to houses having rush events and introduce yourself. If it helps to be less intimidating for you to have a friend with you then do so, but don't present yourselves as a package deal.
