emory mixers?

Do GT frats and sororities mix with other schools like emory? just curious

The sororities' membership numbers here are all twice that of any of the fraternities.

I know for a fact a few fraternities have talked about doing it or have done it before but it’s looked down upon by Tech sororities nowadays so it’s probably not gonna happen with top houses

sometimes it goes ok, sometimes not as much

Emory girls are not especially Southern, so a lot of the Tech fraternities that like to think of themselves as sentient versions of Foghorn Leghorn's voice don't go for it

If your fraternity has to bring girls from off campus to get them to your house then that's not really going to solve your problem, now is it.

For the large fraternity parties, if they don't know you, you need to prove you're a GT student to get in even if you're a girl. Keeps the crowds in check and the randoms from outside campus showing up to get drunk and cause trouble. And GTPD are not as lenient with outsiders as they are with Tech students.
