It will be a national IFC ban starting next year. Every college campus with IFC fraternities is dealing with this. Don't blame Tech IFC. Also be glad we haven't had any alcohol-related deaths on campus.

Or probably the fact that people are going to the hospital and dying due to fraternity related incidents..

Banning hard liquor from fraternities will just encourage people to binge drink even harder at pregames, which is exponentially more dangerous. At least at fraternity parties there are professional bartending companies that know when to turn down a drink to someone who’s had too much, as well as security and sober brothers who monitor the party and do what they can to stop things from getting out of hand. With this rule, people will just drink even harder at unregistered apartment pregames which is so much more dangerous. Your logic is bad, IFC. Stop pretending this has to do with anything but insurance costs.
