a few questions about rush

1 - Buncha different fraternities
2 - Reach out to your friends in fraternities or friends of friends in fraternities. Reach out to upperclassmen you know, girls you know at tech, anyone that can get you in touch with someone from the fraternity. Get that guys number and text them letting them know you're looking to rush summer and they'll probably get you in touch with their rush chair who will invite you down for something. If you're a summer freshman odds are some of the friends you'll make over the summer will be rushing other fraternities and will let you know about events as well if you know literally no one.
3 - You can rush fall if you want to but Summer rush is a lot more laid back and fun. Also fraternities will be more likely to give out a bid to a kid they met over the summer at their parties and made a good impression as opposed to a kid they meet for the first time in formal rush, though just rushing fall doesn't put you at a gigantic disadvantage, it's just a lot more fun to hang out with a kid at a party and get to know them as opposed to talking to a kid during formal rush after you're tired from having the same conversations with dozens of other kids.

If you're worried about rush don't really sweat it. As long as you're a cool kid and can hold a conversation you'll be fine
