fraternity recruitment over summer?

I know fall and spring pledgeship is normal but does Georgia tech have summer pledgeship as well? As in we pledge over the summer and become a brother starting fall?

No, you can go to rush events in the summer and maybe even get a bid but you won't start your pledge program until fall. Summer rush is really just fall rush.

Definitely go to summer rush events if you can. There's a lot less pressure to make a decision quickly and you can meet the brothers in a more laid back environment. As mentioned before. You will officially pledge in the fall at the end of fall rush. They may or may not give you a bid during the summer before fall rush or they may give you what they call a "99% bid" by saying something like "if you were to receive a bid, would you have any objections?"
