low gpa problem for sorority?

Are you an incoming freshman? If so, you have stumbled onto the wrong school's greekrank page lol. If you are 2nd year or higher, yes, your GPA is pretty much a deal breaker for a bid at most if not all NPC houses. Sorority average GPA is around 3.3 for us and we can't drop below 2.6 average without probation. Expect releases early in the week. Just truth, not being mean. Try non NPC houses if it doesn't work out.

If you are a 2nd or 3rd year with this gpa but are an amazingly accomplished campus leader chem e who is gorgeous fun and sweet with friends in the house then you have a chance.

No. Almost every NPC sorority has a national minimum of 2.5 and cannot accept lower. A 2.7 is considered a grade risk. Even as an upperclassman. Don't rush. Work on getting your grades up and try next year. Plus sorority membership is a big commitment and time requirement.
