How important is it for a girl to be in a sorority here to have a social life? I might transfer and my sorority doesn't have a chapter at GT.

it's not super important, you'll still be able to get into whatever frat parties you want because of the ratio and all. However I would highly recommend being apart of greek life for things like mixers and semis and just to meet normal people :)
