sororities going into fall

ADPi/Phi Mu - Two really different groups, both top. ADPi is a more typical southern sorority. Phi Mu is more diverse, well rounded and very involved. Both headquartered in metro Atlanta and benefit from an extremely strong alumni base.

ZTA/AXiD - ZTA has some attractive girls, but very uninvolved. Campus rep fluctuates up and down. AXiD is more involved and the incident last fall did not really impact them. Don't try to start something.

AXO/APhi/AGD - Honestly on pretty much the same level. Order based on personal preference. The girls in these groups really seem to enjoy their sisters. Housing situation could still be problem for APhi during recruitment.

Theta - Really strong group nationally. I believe they will be a great addition to our Greek system. Best of luck to them.

All the sororities here have something to offer. Just because a chapter is "ranked" higher doesn't mean you would be happier there. I'm just giving an overview of the general perception on campus, but PNMs should go where they feel most comfortable

Second ranking is so wrong, written by either a delusional Phi Mu or Alpha Xi, I can't tell which. Phi Mu is not that high, and ZTA and Alpha Xi are NOT on the same level, lmao.

The whole ranking thing is stupid. We don't have enough sororities here to even do that. The truth:

ADPi, Zeta, and Phi Mu are the three groups that are the most desired by PNMs. Each has a different personality, but none is better than the other. ADPi if you're "Southern" probably from metro ATL, and probably rich. ZTA if you like to party and are also probably rich. Phi Mu if you're sporty or involved or "girl next door" type. Yes each sorority might have its flaws but these three are the most desired, prestigious, social, pretty, etc. Sorry but it's true.

Alpha Xi is the weird middle ground, the consolation prize you get after the first three drop you. You'll always be viewed as kinda mediocre but it's better than nothing.

AXO, Alpha Phi, and Alpha Gam are no one's top choice and again, none are really better than the other. You might go AXO if you're super involved and competitive but Phi Mu dropped you. You might go Alpha Phi if you like to party but Zeta and even Alpha Xi dropped you. You might go Alpha Gam if literally every other chapter dropped you.

This may sound harsh but the return rates during recruitment and retention rates for new members further prove that the top three are set apart from everyone else in a big way. So Alpha Xi and Alpha Phi need to stop trying to up-rank themselves because it's ridiculously transparent that they're bitter they're not in the top three.

Zetas are not any more of a party sorority than adpi, especially adpi's recent pledge class. They're not polished. Both zta and adpi are a mix of partiers and good girls. Both have girls who are very involved and both have lots that aren't. That goes for most chapters. But zeta and adpi are top, most desired in rush and most popular on campus.

So many desperate gals on here trying to make sure PNMs have a fake positive image of them before rush begins.

EVERYONE knows the top three sororities. It's delusional to try and say anything otherwise and reflects poorly on the mid- and bottom-tier girls who do it. You're embarrassing your chapters and you're fooling literally no one. :)
