You will be fine. That is not an issue here; transfers are welcome at any chapter. Our system is not so much like so many other schools in the south where recruitment is cut throat and your sorority affiliation actually determines some level of prestige or campus pecking order or completely defines your social life. At Tech all the women are top notch - congratulations on getting in! People try to say there are sorority tiers but literally every single sorority here has pretty girls, not so pretty girls, nice girls, mean girls, party girls, shy girls etc. All chapters are doing really well so don't believe the BS on this site about top/middle/bottom. Go through recruitment and trust your feelings.

Being a sophomore transfer is not a problem at all, even for top sororities, and every pledge class usually has at least five or more sophomores and sometimes even juniors.

Plus you can go through formal recruitment and on the off chance you don't find your home, you can try colony recruitment for Kappa Alpha Theta, because they will be looking for girls of all class standings
