Most polite and personable fraternity men I've met at Tech. A house with real personality whereas many other Tech frats are pretty dry. Working very hard to improve themselves by getting more involved and being more social and removing the old "glowworm" name, at the very least they deserve respect for that. Only other disadvantage I see is that they're a bit more mellow than the other party-hardy frats at Tech. Could see them being solidly middle tier in a few years

They are a very Georgia Tech fraternity. Lots of smart, dedicated guys. They are not a top house by far but those who pledge there do it for a reason and end up having a great time doing the things they like. Not that popular with girls and not good at sports.

Genuine, very underrated guys with a lot of potential. Only the very old brothers are still "glowworm"-y, the younger guys very much so aren't that type and are working to improve their image. Hope that the rest of the Greek community can support them and not be petty like in the past.

unfortunately their diverse brotherhood has landed them in a poor social situation and with poor brotherhood, which are two things a house never wants to have. My roomate actually dropped their pledgeship becuase they were so weird and unathletic.

Despite the reputation brought upon them by brothers a dozen or so years ago, Phi Kap is probably one of my favorite houses to visit because the brothers are all so diverse but also extremely down-to-earth. Disappointingly, they have the tragic flaw of being smaller, so most other Greeks disregard them. Keep an eye out for these guys, with a few good rushes, they could easily roll with the top houses.

First things first - the name "glow worm" hardly fits this chapter anymore. These guys share an extremely close bond, and their pledge class this fall is downright awesome. They're genuinely polite and interesting guys from all over the spectrum (and most of them are pretty attractive!). Their parties aren't exclusive, which is a bit of a drawback given the Tech ratio, but are still some of Tech's best. I hope these guys get the popularity they deserve soon.

Enjoy visiting them when I'm able to because while they aren't the average Tech frat, they do what they do well and are impressive and reasonable guys as a whole. Always try to introduce my sisters to them but the older ones are still stuck on the glowworm thing. Not a fitting name anymore imo, it's a shame people still stick by it. oh well, maybe in a year or two these guys'll get the love they deserve.
