ole miss to gsu

by:

I'm transferring to GSU from Ole Miss. Greek life here is very serious and all over the place on campus. Just curious as to what greek life is like in Atlanta, do yall have houses... whats rush for frat like etc.... I was in a frat for 2 months but dropped because of grades, would me being a sophomore who was already in a frat (but not initiated) weigh into decisions during rush?

Greek life isn't all that serious here, the girls are all average for the most part. There is a small community of Towne homes designated to be "Greek housing", where really none of the sororites associate with the fraternities. But brothers have places off campus where you get hazed and throw parties at. Pledgeship is pretty much a semester long. It's really different here at State. Guys are more lax with their appearance, t shirt and jeans to football games. More so, a lot of them are just lame. Kappa Sig is alright. Other than that it's not worth going Greek here, if you actually want the "brotherhood" don't come here.

Talking from experience. Don't do it. Look into UGA, KSU, or GCSU If you want to go Greek.

If you think KSU Greek Life is anything remotely noteworthy in comparison to GSU you're a neanderthal.
