transfer looking to rush

I'm currently a student at Georgia Perimeter College, its my first semester. I plan on graduating with my associates by spring 2018 then transferring to the downtown campus. I read on the GSU website that if you are transferring from another school you are eligible to rush any sorority or fraternity. Is this true? Or do I need to take some classes in the summer so that I will be eligible to rush in the fall of 2019?

I think if it’s an nphc sorority or fraternity u have to have 12 hours completed at the school before u pledge. If it’s any other other councils u can rush right after transfer.
