now or never

by:

I am a non traditional student. I started school in 1996 but, long store short, stopped because of some life decision that I made. Now I have a family, work full time and go to school full time. Well, I have always wanted to be apart of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority. I am nervous that I will be graduating soon and feel that I should pledge now or never. As if I won't ever have this chance again. I know that I can join as a graduate but it appears that this is frowned upon in Greek as well as Civilian society.

Basically, should someone my age (36), just do the Graduate Pledge or try for the undergraduate now. I really don't want to regret this later.
Thanks

Pledging as an alum is not frowned upon at all! But look beyond the name--Just because you know of AKA does not mean you will automatically get along with everybody there. There are plenty of sororities (especially multicultural) that will welcome you as a graduate!

Hell no, you're to freaking old. I hear GSU is looking for some janitors and cafeteria staff. That may just be your best bet, good luck.
