greek housing

I was wondering why the greeks don't push for bigger housing...especially with the growth of the student body and the purchase of Turner Field and the surrounding lots. Though GSU isnt like Tech ( in the sense that its not a traditional campus), why cant the greek houses be bigger and a bit more grand?

My guess is because the university cracks down hard on drinking on campus. It's nearly impossible to throw a decent party in a house, so why pay more to upgrade when it's pointless?

Yeah I think it's just really easy to find off campus housing so most of them will just find a house near campus and live in it together anyways. Then they can do whatever they want, and its cheaper.
