Phi Mu - ΦΜ Sorority Ratings at GSU

very sweet to other sororities. gets a bad rap bc of daddy's money and coming off a little stuck up but they're a nice group overall.

It’s so funny how bad reviews always come around recruitment time…Phi Mu always plays by the rules and it’s honestly sad that other sororities feel the need to make accusations against a chapter where honesty, character, and class is embodied by all members. The girls in Phi Mu are involved in not only their own philanthropy but other organizations as well. I hope negative reviews don’t change the opinions of people as it’s just immaturity from other people!

All I’m going to say is that the two things I have read the most about Phi Mu is that they lack diversity and are not involved in campus life. If you’ve actually met these girls in real life or even looked at their social media then you would know that this is not true at all… There are many POC in their chapter, not just one “token“ POC. Honestly, diversity locks in every chapter at Gsu so it’s not fair to push the narrative that it’s only phi Mu who lacks diversity. And if you actually were in Greek life at GSU, then you would know that phi Mu is extremely involved in their philanthropy and literally have the most people at their philanthropy events every semester… Not to mention they won multiple sororities philanthropy week this last semester lol. And if you went through recruitment as a PNM or have talked to any other members of phi Mu, then you would know that phi Mu actually never dirty rushes, it’s quite literally the other four chapters that Trash Talk phi mu to PNM‘s and dirty rush them… Which has happen every year lol. I just think it’s really Obvious that it’s other women in Greek life posting nasty comments on here, because every time one positive comment is posted it’s followed by multiple negative comments. It’s really sad that people come on here and complain about phi Mu being mean girls, when this entire page is mean girls talking trash about an entire sorority. Ironic.

i rushed this semester and these girls are honestly cliquey. as a minority, i did notice that there weren’t many girls like me in the sorority. i was also dirty rushed by them. they made it seem like i was guaranteed a bid but i know the reason why they didn’t get me a bid.

be wary of what you read on here, half the comments are from other bitter girls trying to push some false narrative. Very clear phi mu got the best PC this year and by these comments... other people seem very jealous. Way to go for "pan love" sad to read girls from other sororities tearing other women down.. these ladies are all really nice and know how to have a good time. I always see them posting about how much they love each other and Phi Mu on social media. Make your own opinions.. have the stuff on this site is BS

I rushed fall semester. They seemed nice at first but they dirty rushed me. They said all these thing to make feel like I was going to get bid. The day before bid girls told me that they had a great feeling about me and can see me taking over leadership roles. Dont let their words get to you…. most likely they are lying to you. Dont waste your time. The fact that they only want to recruit white girls with blonde hair tells you a lot. If you are a person of color dont even try rushing for them. I probably got dropped bc of the color of my skin color. Their entire fall 21 was all white girls but 3 of them. They probably only recruited those girls for “diversity.”

Despite other negative comments they are such a good group of girls. They got a really good pledge class this year too. All of the girls are super sweet and know how to have a good time with no drama.

It’s always so funny that the bad ranks start rolling in around recruitment... I feel sad for the girls that have to make up rumors to make themselves feel better about recruiting rather than love their current PC and consider them your top girls. Keep talking your talk but phi Mu ALWAYS plays by the rules and it shows every year by how well we recruit and make girls feel comfortable and confident. Stop tearing down other Greek organizations because you aren’t apart of them...Greek life at GSU is so small that there really shouldn’t be room for so much hate from a jealous girl behind a computer screen. As for any PNMs I’m sorry if you read these comments and I hope you take them with a grain of salt regardless of the chapter these negative comments are about. Every chapter is great in their own ways but it’s hard to decipher that when all they spew is hate. Anyways ttyl luv you guyzzzz

Not as bad as AXD but ugh. Seem so fake during rush and they are all very stereotypical sorority girls. Very pretty and popular but just were rude and mean. One girl, she's not the president but she has a high position I think her name was Madlyn, she was laughing during the zoom a lot during mine and my friend's zoom calls and looked like she was laughing at us. It's obvious they are not diverse and only want white girls. Kinda f'd up.

As someone who's not involved in Greek life at GSU, I can always find a friend in phi mu. these girls are genuinely sweet, classy girls who are very inviting to non-greek and other sorority girls. Although phi mus do enjoy partying, they are also academically top tier. I have yet to had a bad encounter with a phi mu :)
