Fraternity and Sorority Rankings (Fall '23-'24)

For all the incoming freshmen who are interested in rushing, here are my rankings for fraternities entering the Fall rush period.

(In Order)

Top Tier (( Good parties every week or every other week, strong brotherhood, best sorority relations ))
1. Pi Kappa Alpha: As far as greek life at mason goes, PIKE recruits the most stereotypical "fraternity" type men. Good IM's, good parties, good chapter size. Good APhi / AOPi / Zeta relations.

2. Delta Chi: DChi is like PIKE in terms of parties, IM's, and chapter size- just less meatheads and stereotypical "bros". Good Zeta / AOPi relations.

3. Phi Sigma Kappa: Good parties, good chapter size, decent IM's. Best way to describe these guys is Soundcloud rappers. AOPi fanboys, some APhis here and there.

4. Kappa Alpha Order: Good parties, decent chapter size, bad IM's. Very social group of guys- very party heavy. Decent sorority relations all around but not tight with any one in particular.

Middle Tier (( Okay parties every so often- more bad parties then good ones, meh brotherhood, okay sorority relations ))
5. Pi Kappa Phi: They did light that girl on fire- and then chokeslam the other one, but somehow people still like them. Haven’t heard much from them, but decent parties, decent brotherhood, actually okay IM’s.

6. Alpha Sigma Phi: Decent parties every so often, terrible house. Decent brotherhood but small chapter size. Meh IM’s. Used to have decent Zeta relations.

7. Tau Kappa Epsilon: Actually not doing as bad as they used to. Blanket bids so a huge artificial chapter increase, but that strategy still landed them some decent brothers. Bad IM’s, more bad parties than good (their house gets raided a ton). Loves AXiD and GPhi.

8. Beta Theta Pi: Pretty much just TKE but with a worse house and worse brothers. Bad IM’s, bad parties, no house.

Bottom Tier (( LOL ))
9-14. Chi Psi, Zeta Psi, Phi Delta Theta, Sigma Chi, Theta Chi, AEPi: Where you go if you can’t get a bid anywhere else. Parties are terrible if they even exist, nonexistent sorority relations outside of a brother or two dating a sorority woman. Brotherhood is actually not bad, the emphasis is really on that for the bottom tier.
