For any confused PNM, you will not pay this much per semester! These are new member dues meaning you only pay it the first semester you are in the sorority, after that they all go down by around 200-300 dollars for the rest of your time as an active member. Certain "statuses" in the sorority such as study abroad or inactive allow you to pay next to nothing if not nothing. Don't let people scare you about the money, it is not that bad.
