Seconding ^ Don't worry about mixers, it's such a minuscule part of greek life and being in a sorority it shouldn't matter much. If you care about being with the good frats you can still always go to their parties on the weekends and come back to campus and be with a sisterhood you love!

Don’t join a sorority they’re a waste of time and fake sisterhoods. You’re better off saving your money and partying with whatever fraternity you like whenever you want. They’ll try to tell you that you can’t drink during certain times and tell you that you can’t go out or you’re in trouble. Honestly do you fraternities won’t care
