by: DG21Im looking for a preppy, conservative frat. Basically a good ol boys club. Which frat at Mason would fit me best?

In standing with the notion of a “Universal respect for self and others,” SigEp has eliminated the pledge process completely. The program grants all members the same rights and privileges from day one, which is contrary to the idea of a two-tiered, pledge model. Because we recruit the best men, they are granted full responsibility as soon as the accept the invitation of membership.

No pledge program means at best Sig Ep are a club not a brotherhood. This coming from a Sig Ep legacy.

SigEp Recolonization News –
There are no updates other than that GMU, and SigEp Headquarters have agreed to a Spring 2017 recolonization. Beta Theta Pi had also negotiated a re-colonization at GMU, and that pre-empted our original plans for Fall 2016, as Beta Theta Pi had their plan in place before us and they arranged an exclusivity deal with GMU that no other fraternities would be able to come on campus during their start-up perio

To pledge Sig Ep you literally fill out a form online and you're a member, not a pledge, but a full brother. It's weird.
