Honestly, from the outside looking in a sorority seems like so much fun... The idea of being in a 'sisterhood' with likeminded individuals and doing fun things like partying and mixers while still helping out the community with philanthropy work. But from the inside looking out, its a completely different story. I went through recruitment last fall with high hopes and got into my number one choice, a 'top' tier..... But ever since then it's SO annoying constantly dealing with the fakeness between sororities and even within YOUR own sorority. Girls being catty and mean to one another.... Other sororities spreading rumors about one another.... sister hating one another... and the list goes on and on. Now don't get me wrong, so many girls in my sorority and the panhellinic community love it but I guess I just wasn't cut out for all the unnecessary drama and rules. Just wanted to say it's not all fun and games.
