because IFC has to vote for them (took 2 semesters for A Sig and they were a brand new fraternity technically). Sig Ep was punished by the school for an indefinite amount of time and their nationals for 4 years. Their nationals wants them back on after the 4 year ban, but the school doesn't. It is similar to Sigma Chi being banned for 10 or so years from the school with no suspension from their nationals for all the stupid and dangerous crap they pulled.

Why doesn't the administration want them back yet?
Do nationals and the school have to agree, or can the frat come back without school endorsement?

A. The four years is done
B. Nationals and School do not have to agree, thus why Sig Ep will be like Sigma Chi and TKE (fraternities with charters that are not recognized by the school).

This is the least informed thread I've ever read. For the love of god I hope none of you actually take 'information' from this site to heart don't believe anyone who calls a fraternity 'frats' for starters. They are clearly a GDI. TKE doesn't have a charter or chapter here. Being off campus doesn't make you lowest tier and anyone who talks about tiers probably missed the whole point of Greek life

TKE doesn't have a official chapter with an official charter. Maybe one day they get recognized if they want to.
