Gamma Phi Beta - ΓΦΒ Sorority Ratings at GMU

Never felt pressured to be someone I wasn't during recruitment when I was in their room. I felt like I could be real with them and very comfortable.

I had high hopes for them when going through recruitment because I have friends in other chapters from other schools who can go on and on about their love for gamma phi but this chapter seemed to be disorganized and kinda uninterested overall. Maybe it was just a bad year but they did not meet my expectations...

I call this "the last resort"

Awkward moment when they screwed up recruitment this fall SO bad. Didn't call back any girls who were decent and everyone else they did call back were absolutely bummed that they ended up getting them. So many girls were crying bc all they had on their schedule was gamma phi. Their rooms were poorly decorated and the whole thing was unorganized. I liked these girls but after recruitment I knew I belonged somewhere else. Not impressed.

Recruitment was so bad

I'm not affiliated but am thinking of going through recruitment. I know a ton of Gamma Phi's and they have some really driven girls and have one of the best sisterhoods on campus. Everywhere you go you will find a few sour lemons overall they have a unique philanthropy and are super kind.

Try way too hard.. Also kinda rude to anyone not in their organization

I am thinking about rushing this year and this sorority has been by far the most impressive. They are extremely sweet and you can tell the girls genuinely care about each other. The girls are very diverse, but all of the ones I met are classy, intelligent, and kind.

A ton of dime pieces. Every Gamma Phi I've met has been sweet and very involved in the sorority and on campus. They also seem to really like each other and all hang out with each other at parties. Less cliquey than other girls.
