Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority Ratings at GMU

I haven't met a chi o yet that I don't like. Definitely going to keep them in mind during recruitment weekend.

they aren’t a bad group they just kinda aren’t a connected group of women. With being unconnected comes the issue of low social presence and a bare minimum campus presence.

Chi O has been known on our campus forever as the "wife material" girls every frat told me on the first day I got here. Along with Zeta they are very diverse and look at girls for not only looks, but their personalities and ambitions. DEFINITELY one of the chapters you should definitely look at!! COMPLETELY UNDER RATED

it's funny seeing middle and bottom tier chapters come in and give them a middle tier rank because they're jealous that Chi O somehow is still top tier. They may not be the most involved on campus, but I will say that they definitely have a more genuine sisterhood than the other top tier chapters. Again, maybe not the social queens or party animals, but they have good heads on their shoulders and still get party rides lists. The middle and bottom tiers can't really say the same. Stay on top, Chi Omega!

Strong middle tier, i just think they just have very little unity as a whole. This last year there were a few pockets of girls who got along and were good friends but there really isn’t much of that anymore. Think they need to find their unity or recruit a pledge class based off more than just grades

Oh Chi O. As one of the 3 top tier chapters, they stick out like a sore thumb. But that isn't a bad thing. APhi is intensely involved, Aopi is intensely social, and Chi O is intensely focused on...academics? Being the girls you want to bring home to mom? PNMs, Chi O is probably the lowest maintenance top tier chapter, but just be aware that they aren't perfect either. But hey, they're hot. They have a good reputation on campus (aside from a lack of involvement). Hope to see them improve this year.

nothing widely in common with sisters except grades

they’ve been known for being smart but as of this semester they have to initiate all girls in their first semester- not after girls get their first semester GPAS. being smart has always been their strongest attribute and now they can’t wait until second semester to initiate- so, very curious to see how this recruitment goes and how their overall gpa looks in the spring

i think nationally they have such wonderful chapters! However i do agree with the vibe here that they are not super close. They had a group of seniors who recently graduated that knew how to balance mason involvement/fun along with school but the sorority as a whole is not overly involved at Mason. I’ve never met a Chi O who was outright mean or anything but be aware of how little unity/presence there is within the organization and on campus

If you’re looking for a sorority that’s like not super social this is perfect for you! Sweet girls, with overall good work ethics
