No one chooses SDT, you end up there after getting rejected by everyone else. The cliques are very bad and it's fueled by the toxic "family" dynamic based on who your big is. The cliques are basically mini exclusionary sororities within the sorority. The girls who are in the cliques will go on and on about how great the sisterhood is, but there definition of sisterhood only includes a fraction of the sorority. The girls who aren't in the cliques usually end up dropping. Nationals is utterly useless and doesn't step in unless the chapter is on the verge of collapsing. (This chapter isn't known for being "smart" but Greek Rank doesn't have an option for "none of the above")

I know some girls from here who said that their first recruitment standard is that the girl is a good person which is sweet. However I think that that is why they have a reputation for being shy and getting compared more to ESA since they mainly seem to ramp up during their phil weeks. Regardless of the quietness or maybe because of it they don't seem to have drama and the girls really love each other so I'm sure they're a good group to be around.

SDT girls are nice, smart, and involved, but goody-goody girls who probably won't come to mind when you think "sorority". It would be great for them to let loose a bit. Other reviews have said it all.

kind, smart and diverse group of girls. they have a girl next door reputation on campus, they're shy but besides that there's nothing really bad to say about them. i like them a lot.

As the other reviews said this isn't a sorority you go to for hot girls. You go to them for personality. Every sdt I've met has been extremely sweet, funny and CRAZY smart. However they do have issues with not being social outside of philanthropy and exchanges... If you go out on a Friday night or Saturday night you will not find a single sdt out lmfao. Once they're seen out and about more often they'll get higher in tier IMO because they have the personalities to make it work.

ngl i never went out of my way to talk to them in the past but theyre actually very nice n fun. theyre not bombshells or a top sorority but they do care a lot about their philanthropy and will actually talk to you even if you're not in greek life. their rep also seems to be going up with their latest pledge class n social medias. theyre not a top tier sorority and prolly wont ever be but they 100% r one on the rise.

They aren't the prettiest girls, but that's not a bad thing. Instead, it tells me they're less superficial than the other sororities and recruit based on people's personalities. They're not going to throw it back on you at a party, instead, they'll have a friendly conversation with you. That alone makes them wife material. I am aware there is some internal drama though, so hopefully it's nothing too serious.

Really sweet, funny, accepting girls who aren't too clumpy at exchanges. They don't recruit off of looks and had a few weird members in the past so they're not popular around campus, but since the weird members graduated they've become a great group of girls. I think SDT is definitely turning around

there are some amazing people in this sorority and it makes me sad that they are looked down on so much. but there are people in this sorority that you can tell joined greek life to be cool and are trying to break that mold.

i was pleasantly surprised by them at the welcome back bash. while they’re admittedly not lookers and i don't see them party much, they're cute, friendly, can hold a conversation, and actually seemed like they liked each other. they've got a good future and i’m happy to see it. keep it up, ladies.
