knowing people

Is it important to know girls in each sorority before rush? Is there still a decent chance of getting a bid even if you don't know anyone?

Hey, I would say you should definitely try and know at least one girl from each sorority well-- you can still get a bid from some if you don't know anyone, but it is best to be cautious and know at least one girl/

It really depends. If you get to know one girl who has a TON of friends within the sorority, you end up meeting a lot of other girls within the sorority and then you have leverage during recruitment.

Just keep an open mind through the recruitment process and if you're cool and genuine anyone will want you.
