by: PNMIs it impossible to go through recruitment at Furman as an upperclassman? I am transferring to Furman as a sophomore this spring, but want to join a sorority. But, because of the 12 credit hour rule, I would have to wait until Junior year. Is this completely dumb or could I still get a bid?

Go through recruitment in spring! Greek life is so much fun at Furman and is a great opportunity to meet so many people. Even if you don't decide to join a sorority in the end go through recruitment and if you truly end up hating it you can always drop before initiation.
