Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Furman University - FU 4.6 People on here seem to be saying that DG is "too diverse" or that they don't get what they all have in common. Well let me tell you, because it's ignorant to think they're just a random group of girls that don't fit together. What brings DG together is their passion for life and they way they are all fearlessly themselves. You're right, they don't go around all pretending to be one type of girl to fit into a stereotype like some other chapters on campus. DG encourages its girls to be whoever they want to be instead of molding them to fit a stereotype. DGs are driven, fun-loving women who know that their sisters will be loyal to them regardless of whether they share the same interests or personality types.

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Furman University - FU 2.8 weird group of girls who tend to be extremely sororityty but not incredibly popular. This group attracts theatre girls, opera singers, that sort of thing, they've got a great sisterhood though and seem to really like each other

Do not get me wrong, I am all about diversity, but these girl are TOO diverse- if that can be a thing. split between girls who give them he phrase "nothing drops faster than an anchor" who should've went ADPi and goody girls who should've went TriDelta. Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Furman University - FU 4.6 It's so refreshing to see a group of girls who are all so genuine. Each member is her own person, which allows them the freedom to be an individual while also being part of a larger whole. You won't find strict labels, cattiness, or fake girls with this sorority. The sisterhood between these girls is undeniably strong. A DG said "I feel like I could go to anyone here and be supported, no matter what." Who wouldn't love to be part of something like that?

They don't call the "barn" the DG house for nothing.. they remember that they are in college and love to party and let loose.. love hanging with them..

Delta Gamma - ΔΓ Sorority at Furman University - FU 4.4 I'm from a different sorority and I can honestly say their pledge class is the best...they all get along super well. My pledge class is diverse like theirs but we're polarized and I honesty feel like I can't trust half the girls in there. But with dg, every girl is close. Like a family. That's what sisterhood should be.
