They are a really mixed group of girls that turn up and girls that don’t. Because of that there is a lot of drama within their circle. They don’t really have a reputation but if you ask any frat guy what their rep is they will just say they are irrelevant.

Hi I am a KKG - and I️ do not wanna hide this as a self-rank but wanna address the comments here. Before going through recruitment, I️ was alone, afraid, and scared at Furman after the first semester made me wanna transfer. I listened to the stereotypes and what others thought about each organization. Recruitment changed when I️ started listening to myself and not outsiders. I️ love Kappa because what you see is what you get - no fines, no threats, so we are doing something and hanging out together because we want to do it. We support Kappas, we connect with other KKGs around the country. My sisters are some of the most intelligent, ambitious, and studious women I️ know and help me to dream and meet my goals. My girl squad is in this organization, and they make me happy. Tiers don’t matter here or in the outside world. If you’re fake in recruitment or don’t keep an open mind/are mad because you are somewhere you don’t wanna be, then it’s not going to work out. The Greek organizations are all great here, but KKG is the one for me. I️ hope you all and your home, keep an open mind and treat others the way you want to be treated.

The Kappas are the some of the most genuine, sweets girls. These women really do care about each other they aren't bound to each other with fines or social obligations, they just are passionate and value each others company. These girls are actually funny and smart af too. Really loved their Kupcakes event this semester and they always kill homecoming.

Seems like a really strong sisterhood that supports one another, but has a hard time being inclusive. Does not feel accepting of people who fall outside of the stereotype of southern, white, wealthy type of girl.
