pledges

Each fraternity determines the number of new pledges based on their individual needs. Some fraternities are more selective while others may bid anyone that is willing to join. Go to rush orientation and visit each fraternity during rush to determine the best fit for you. A few IFC fraternities own their own houses while others rent. Some do not have houses at all. Don't be afraid to ask questions during the process.

A fall class for a fraternity on the mall (except delta sig) is usually at least 20. Delta sig won't get more than 10. They are just too stoned to work for it. Sigep will take more but have more drop...they really take anyone and everyone. They need to get to a solid size though before they lose the house they are renting and become homeless.

One thing to consider when pledging some fraternities, is that a few have immediate initiation processes right after pledging. Make sure you are willing to live with the lifelong commitment to that frat, because if you drop after initiation, you will most likely not be allowed to join another frat. Make sure to ask if the frat has a regular pledge process or a quick initiation process. It's a lifelong commitment, so choose wisely.

Why would you bash these fraternities? No fraternity will take "anyone."
