Who will dominate this year? My predictions compared to last year...
dg- up. seemed off last year, but did fine. they have close pledge classes, and if on top of their game they will do really well.
adpi- down. really bad 2 years ago, really well last year, it will probably even out. hard to follow-up last year
aphi- same. will keep up momentum from last year, but still small chance they will outdo dg or adpi
kd- up. noticed they are dirty rushing girls who would normally join top sororities. will get girls who are dropped but also turned off by top sororities.
aephi- up. deter girls over hazing, but they are close and underestimated
sdt- down. usually get the biggest JAPs, but i think they will be disorganized and some girls will be scared to join.
theta- down. kd went down after their colonizing in their first recruitment, but theta is not as strong as KD was to start
gphib- down. KD and theta on campus have hurt them and will continue to.
sk- same. similar problem as gphib, but i think they could compete with theta.
ddd- same as always. not much chance to move up.

nice, diverse group. some of the girls are knockouts and some are, well, the opposite. They really don't seem to impress in recruitment, but I think they're a really nice group of girls with a very tight sisterhood!

This recruitment was very interesting! I think it turned out a lot differently than people anticipated!
DG and Alpha Phi were competing for all of the top girls this year. Not sure what happened to ADPi, but they were definitely number 3.
KD killed it, but I also had 2 girls tell me that girls in KD told them they would be perfect KDs, so hello dirty rushing! They were definitely number 4.
AEPhi did okay, but not as well as I think they expected, because they don't really compete with KD, and yet they are very similar in the rankings. I would say they were number 5.
Interestingly, I would say SK was next. A lot of girls preffed SK and the top sororities. SK always does a lot better than anyone expects, so good for them! GO SK!
At the bottom: GPhi, Theta, SDT and DDD. I'm still surprised SDT did as well as they did given the circumstances.
Best of all, EVERYONE MADE QUOTA!

I would also agree with the above that Theta did not do as well as KD did their first year. Not really sure why that happened, but I was sad to see it.

This is literally PERFECT. Exactly how it went. The best girls chose between Alpha Phi and DG this year. ADPi was out of the running for top. I dropped ADPi before APhi, KD, and DG.
DG and Alpha Phi are by far the best

I agree for the most part. I think in the end all of the best girls were choosing between DG and Aphi but I think Aphi did better. Everyone that I spoke to said that Aphi got all the girls that DG wanted. But yeah, Adpi really didnt do well this year, everyone said they were realllly fake.

i agree with the info about recruitment, with adpi not doing as well in previous years, but that ranking is definitely off

I agree that APhi and DG were competing for all of the same girls. I did also hear APhi got a lot of the girls DG wanted. But I feel like all sororities deal with that, and I don't think it's fair to totally discount ADPi either. ADPi got some girls that the top two wanted and some girls that preffed a top house didn't choose it! basically, this recruitment was CRAY

it's kind of weird but like some of the sororities that are really close in rankings don't actually compete for the same girls. Like KD and AEPhi are a hot button topic for who is the top of the middle tier. But I doubt that many girls pref the two of them. Same with AEPhi and GPhi.... so strange. Here was what I observed to be typical pref patterns from people I've talked to:

well said!! the only thing I would do differently on yours is switch sdt and sk. if we're not going to argue about the order within those tiers then this is pretty close to spot on

I would not put theta on the bottom. They certainly are not anywhere near a top tier but from what I have seen they have a decent pledge class.

I know a couple girls who preffed those two. And of those like 3 or 4 there's a variety in who wanted what and where they ended up. pref was definitely different this year
