but remember this isn't the south where rankings are everything and the girls in each sorority seem pretty much the same.

each sorority has its own distinct personality (generally that is) and dynamic. some are very close and others don't know their whole pledge class. BU greek life really comes down to who you are, and what you want out of it.

agreed! each house has its own kind of stereotype/persona.

ADPi - preppy, blonde, popular, smart, not a super close sisterhood
DG - pretty, popular, a little snobby, not super involved
APhi - hot, party girls, a little sloppy, don't all know each other
AEPhi - JAPs, rich, hard partiers
KD - nice, tight sisterhood, a little over zealous
GPhiB - really close sisterhood, mixed bag of girls, a little dull
SK - classy, nice, not very social
SDT - kicked off for 1 calendar year for hazing.
DDD - sweet, not social, smallest chapter

heyy aephi has one of the closer sisterhoods... just putting it out there.. and yes I'm in aephi but its true

focus here on the sidebar for more honest ranks/descriptions of sororities like the ones below. if you read the specific comments to the left, you'll dread all of these sororities. the self rankers and the haters both do each house a disservice.

hazing does not a strong sisterhood make.

Yes, I know my last tier might be controversial, but I really think that getting kicked off for a year makes you a weaker chapter than the chapter that was voted sorority of the year.

whoever wrote that thing about KD is obviously a GPhiB. But KD DOES have prettier girls, a stronger sisterhood, better philanthropy events, are more popular to mix with, and have an all around better reputation than GPhi. I would def choose KD over GPhiB in ANYTHING
