gpa

Hi, I'm thinking about rushing a sorority this spring. Is a 2.5 the absolute minimum GPA with no exceptions? If someone has just below a 2.5, is it not worth rushing at all? Or might their other awesome assets make them an exception? Thanks for your responses!

There are MANY chapters that do grade cuts the first day. But depending on the chapter's national rules, you do have a chance to get asked back even if you have below a certain chapter's minimum gpa requirement. I would still go through recruitment and see what happens. but if you get dropped by a lot on the first day, don't be turned off! Work hard in school and come back next year :)

It depends on what you want. I know for a fact that your choices will be more limited with a lower gpa, but you can always go through with it and see what happens and drop if you have no choices. You can always try again next year.
