If you know people in a specific sorority already is it fair that they "automatically" get in over other people or is that technically unfair?

Yes, it's called "dirty rushing" and is not tolerated in the greek community. Tell someone on Panhel.

Sounds like we got an informer in our midst. Just kidding. Stop being a child and grow up. This is all perfectly legal and in accordance with the pan hellenic code. And the code of Hammurabi and the code of silence Omerta and the code of the wild wild west. And the law of the jungle. And the by laws of the United Nations and its predecessor the League of Nations. And the Vietnam cease fire agreement. BTW didn't your parents give you an envelope with Hundred Dollar bills in it for bail/bribe money. Just kidding. LOL

I think it depends on the case. If someone happens to meet and befriend some girls in a specific sorority by chance and ends up being joining that sorority, it does not always mean they were dirty rushed. That person may have truly and fairly belonged in that sorority even if they did not know anyone in that sorority, so who are you to really question it? However, if the sisters in a sorority go out of their way to befriend someone they want to join their sorority and clearly tries to influence a PNM's decision, whether it be in person, social media, etc., then that would definitely be considered dirty rushing. I think Panhel probably has different punishments depending on the situation
