suicide bidding + COBs
by: lolsiesCan someone confirm or deny whether suicide bids/single preference bids f'd people over this year?? Does it depend on the chapter? also who do we think is gonna do COBs

heard there was a much bigger push for suicide bidding this year than past years so it definitely made it harder for many. theta and tridelt will def do cob, unsure about others. panhel initially said no cob this semester but i know for sure they’ve gone back for those two at least. i have a lot of friends who really liked theta during recruitment but i would definitely give both a chance if you’re interested!

i was a pi chi and we definitely wanted to ensure that people weren’t signing the MRABA for chapters they weren’t going to end up accepting bids from, so there were more single preference selections. it’s just to prevent people from dropping after they open their bid and allow more people to be eligible for cob
