stop ranking sororities

stop the rankings. the fact that we’re still ranking groups of women based on looks, money, status, etc is so depressing and not good for the mental well being on these women. it doesn’t matter if you’re in the top house or the bottom house, it doesn’t automatically make you hotter, skinnier, more worthy, etc. it just mentally hurts those who aren’t in “top” houses and kills their self esteem and puts pressure and competition on friendships between girls in the “top” houses. ladies as long as you’re happy in your sorority and having a positive experience it really doesn’t matter where that sorority ranks, all of the rankings are “self ranks” as girls in these sororities are the ones submitting these rankings. in the grand scheme of life what sorority you’re apart of doesn’t matter it’s about forming connections both professional and personal with your sisters and alumni. I know a lot of stress is put on certain houses based on which frats they mix with and how you think you’re perceived by these men but trust me any guy who likes you based on which sorority you’re in is not a good guy and won’t make you happy long term. focus on loving yourself and forming good connections with girls in the house you’re happy in, and drop the weight that rankings hold.
