Recruitment Info

With recruitment coming up, everyone should know that a ton of chapters here DO dirty rush and pre-select girls. A lot of girls go in with an open mind not knowing what they’re getting into, not understanding what sororities base their decisions on. A lot of girls are bound to fail rushing certain sororities here, because many are discriminatory against woc, queer women, and people who aren’t extremely wealthy. they may come across that they aren’t, but there’s a reason why the recruitment sign up sheets are 7+ pages long asking what high school you went to, your hometown, your zip code, and a picture of yourself.

This is also not to say that all girls in greek life agree with these decisions. There are many people who HAVE to base their decisions off of higher powers in the organization or nationals. BUT, these inequalities exist, and they are even worse in sororities. We can’t pretend like a lot of sororities don’t base their decisions off looks and money. It will save girls a lot of heartache knowing this.
