I transferred to BU sophomore year from SMU (i was in a srat there) and yall honestly take this stuff wayyyy too seriously for what it is. Some boys in sig ep and pike are chill and know that frat life at BU isnt legit, but boys in other frats (...Ksig, chi phi, dtd...) act like greek gods. Pleeease calm down. your "house" is some piss dump in allston and you social budget equals a homeless mans bank account. lower your ego, you plugs are in bu greek life for a reason.

Do yourself a favor. Go on youtube and look up a College Weekly video of fraternity life at a big school. Then look up BU greek life... \n\n\n\n\nYeah BU greek life might be sanctioned by a national organizations, but if you think that is comes close to what traditional greek life really is, I think youre a clown. Greek life at BU is comparable to clubs at other universities.
Also... you didnt "pledge", and if you believe that you did, you clearly dont know what real pledging is. all you did was some watered down progressive version of it.

maybe the reason why greek life at BU is more lowkey is because we actually have academics??? people here didn’t go to college here for greek life. they chose to attend a competitive school, and you somehow miraculously transferred in here. maybe you and your 900 SAT should go back. yeah, at other schools, greek life is bigger but a lot of people don’t leave college knowing any more than they did coming in. not saying that’s the case all the time, but it is the case a lot of the time. try again sweetie

dont get me wrong... I like frats. I just have a problem with kids that go to BU, join a frat, and then all of a sudden they think they rule the world. Like congrats on getting into your frat?? Not like you have much competition here anyways... But whatever makes you feel special I guess.
