it didn't work out for me

i trusted the process. i went in with an open mind. i really tried my best and approached each day with a positive attitude. each day i got dropped by chapters i liked, but i still continued to go into every party friendly and excited. i even had friends (from high school that i've know for years) in a few chapters.
today i was left with only tridelta. no hate to them, they really were sweet girls who get unecessary hate, but tridelt isn't for me. i know i'm not a tridelta girl. maybe i'm not top tier aphi level, but i know that too. i just don't get why i was dropped by every other chapter.

Hey! I was in a similar situation to you freshman year and I felt the same way. I decided to rush again sophomore year and I got the sorority I wanted and overall had a much better experience. I’m so happy I waited because I realized I didn’t even know myself freshman year. I was so lost and unsure, and I think others could pick up on that. I came in the next year more confident and more open and I found the whole recruitment process to be a lot more fun (and as a bonus I ended up in a house I really wanted as well). I’d say don’t beat yourself up, focus on other things like studies for a year and joining other clubs and come back next year even stronger :)
