spring transfer

hi! okay i applied to bu for spring transfer im a freshman but 17 so im a little worried w being younger especially with meeting boys. i want to rush 100% if i am accepted, i have a 3.9 GPA, and my dad is a legacy for his frat but idk if that matters to a sorority.. my mom was not in one but my cousins/aunts/grandmother was (it’s not exactly one I feel I would like) is there anything else i can do to prepare for rush? im super nervous bc i have heard so many things help lol

rush!!!! will you be 17 in february?? i dont think they know your age. also, guys will not know if you do not say anything. also, you count as a legacy to some houses so apply! where are you a legacy?

my dad was phi gamma delta, and my grandma/aunts were in alpha chi omega, my cousins are in aphi!!!!

- also not relevant but if i am accepted will finding a dorm be difficult? like I wanna have a roommate who i actually like and would be rushing too, I would also like to get a nice dorm!

oh and another one of my cousins is in kappa alpha theta, im from the south though if that makes any difference

Being 17 shouldn't make too much of a difference. Every sorority does who is considered a legacy different, some accept cousins and some don't. Everyone is assigned housing as a first year student and there are a lot of new students coming so you should be able to meet people in your same situation.

would you recommend a single or double? i feel like a single would be lonely af but has pros!! im conflicted bc if I get a roommate and we don’t get along i’d want to change lol
