adpi and aphi are top

by: terriers

Yes they are both interchangeably top sorority for different reasons. The majority of their newest pledge classes seemed to be very torn between the two. Both sororities have beautiful girls, but sisterhood, GPAs, retention rates, etc differ them apart. Adpi is known to have a very strong sisterhood, and to be very social (more fun to mix with?), which people have said have recently given them an edge to alpha phi. While Alpha phi is still popular to PNMs with their stellar PR and appearances, they are known to be a bit more superficial and basic. Alpha phi Is also known to loose a lot of members as they get older.

Girls who are reading greekrank: you’ll see the differences during recruitment!!! Don’t judge them on their instagrams or reputations, you’ll learn everything you need to know during recruitment about their vibes. Take everything on this site with a grain of salt. Find the best fit for you!

I am an aphi member and I just want to put out there that I was on the road to transfer from BU my freshman year before I joined aphi. I hate to say that it was greek life that made me love college, but that's just how it happened for me. There are going to be girls in every single house that don't like their experience and drop, and more often than not its because they listened to these "ranks" during recruitment instead of actually trusting the process. To this day, I still remember the girls and the conversations I had with aphi during recruitment because they were meaningful and every single girl was so genuine and I knew I would be happy surrounded by these girls. Let's start talking about our positive experiences with our respective chapters instead of trying to make other ones seem bad

Maybe for You but Ilook at aphi’s website of their members’ names by pledge class...the paragraphs of names get smaller and smaller the longer girls are in aphi. Aka everyone drops. That says something

A lot of people drop for different reasons ie fiancial, established friendships and don’t feel they need to be in the sorority, etc. this is true for all chapters tbh.

This girl was just sharing her experience with aphi. I’m not in that sorority but I think the point she was trying to make is every sorority offers something good. You can find your “home” in any chapter and Greek rank shouldn’t deter girls from being confident in a chapter they feel a connection with. Clearly she felt a connection with alpha phi and call them superficial basic or having bad retention rates whatever that’s beside her point that the chapter helped her feel welcome at BU.

I think her point was her sorority made her experience at BU worthwhile. What others think of your chapter shouldn’t matter if you are happy and find meaning in that chapter. Her point is valid through top and bottom tier sororities. Stop ripping each other apart and understand every member can find meaning in their chapter no matter what their retention rates are, how superficial they appear, what their Instagram looks like, how fun they are to mix with, if they are annoying, if they are basic, if they self rank, etc.
